Towards highway (to Batocina ramp, from where you can continue to Nis and the south, or Belgrade and the north)

The crossroads at Jezero hall (Lepenicki Bulevar and Grad Sirena Streets) is the ideal spot. You can wait at the traffic light on the Lepenicki Bulevar, or the left lane from Grad Sirena St. Just after the crossroads you'll see people hitchhiking, so it's another spot.

If someone gives you a lift to the road toll ramp at Batocina, that's a great spot for hitching a ride to either Belgrade and Nis, depending on the direction.

Towards Cacak, Kraljevo, Guca

The traffic light in the Stanovo suburb, in the western part of the town.

The other option is to go to the suburb of Ravni Gaj, where the road branches - left to Kraljev, right to Cacak. No traffic lights there, so the cars are going a bit faster. A shield with a destination name is not a bad idea there.

Towards Topola, Arandjelovac, Belgrade (old road)

People use the old road to go to Belgrade mostly early in the morning, so that's the best time for hitchhiking. In the Petrovac suburb the road widens a bit, so you can stand there.

Towards Gornji Milanovac

The crossroads of Grad Sirena and Radoje Domanovic Streets. The good hitchhiking spot is just after the crossroads.

Towards Jagodina, Rekovac, Krusevac (old road)

There are two bridges over the Lepenica river, just by the Jovan Ristic monument. Wait at the lane that turns right after you cross the bridge.

Option No. 2: Bus stop at Pirotehnika (crossroads of Spanskih Boraca and Kosovska streets). A couple hundred meters away from the previous place and, some say, better. Wait just after the bus stop.
